Who We Are

Welcome to the new blog for the Women’s Ministries at City Chapel, and the church of Red Deer!  We have decided to begin this blog as an encouragement, a teaching-platform, and a resource for women who love God, and that He has called as His own. 

Christian marketing circles are constantly releasing new self-help type books for women, books that focus on how to overcome guilt, how to be a better mom, how to cast off your anxieties, and even “How to Change Your Husband by Friday”.  The focus of this blog, however, is not “how to become a better woman”, but rather, “how to glorify God through our lives and our actions”.  Everything that we will cover will be based off the greater goal of loving God with our hearts, our souls and our minds, because we know that when God is our priority, and our whole life is about glorifying Him, that our conduct, our lives and our hearts cannot remain untouched.  By loving God and glorifying Him, we will also learn to love our husbands, our children and our neighbours.
